Gag Jie (Gag 姐) Returns !!!

For the previous post regarding to Gag Jie, I found out that there's actually more and more funny videos about the happenings in Hong Kong by him/her ! Today I'm gonna show 3 of the videos I found interesting to share with you lot. Get yourself ready as the videos are in cantonese.

So, since I'm such a 38 person, lets kick start with this video: Baikwaology !

Moral of the video:
We should practice a thing called "Self-baikwalization" so that those gossips will not be spread like a deadly disease such as H1N1. Stop gossiping to other people after you got the gossip yourself. Right...

Next up, the thing we always do, ONLINE~ There's a term for it: Sheongmonglization.

Moral of the video:
Online dating is very dangerous, and Gag Jie was so correct on the point "false pictures". Beware of the guys and girls we know on the internet such as Facebook and do not public out your MSN to avoid strangers which their intentions are unknown.

Final video of the day: Middleority !

Moral of the video:
Never thought of there's a term called "Middleority" other than minority and majority. Lol~ But good work to Gag Jie for introducing us this special term. I dont think I'm the Middleority person, but for those who are, brace yourself and let the minority and majority know your existance !!!

Until next time, see you. =D

What A University Student Always Do In University ?

#Recording the lecture.#

Well, not everyone do so...but since the lecturer is not giving out the subject's lecture slides, we got no choice but to take our own camera and snap the presentation slides and record the lecture.

The camera is kinda useful too when it comes to a lab experiment, like this !

#Snaping a picture of the specimen, or ...#

#... snap your friend's picture !#

At the beginning of the semester, there's always those clubs making signboards and stations all over the cafeteria to recruit more members. And this is the club that I joined as mentioned in the previous post.

#Xiao Rou and her friend sitting infront of the Chinese Orchestra club recruitment signboard.#

Well...here comes the interesting stuffs:

#Zzz...#

#Zzz...#

#Zzz...#

#Zzz...#

Where else to go after lecture ? Library of course ! That is the best place for sleeping !!! Outside the library, I found this signboard while putting my bag in the locker...

#Whats reserved ? Parking ?#

The most "interesting" class of the semester... Biodiversity and Concepts of Ecology ! How interesting is this class ? Proofs captured below...

#Pose before the lecturer come in.#

#Sensei was so happy to be captured by the camera...#

... and the worse nightmare come when the lecturer came in the class ...

#She's gonna kill me for taking this without her permission or knowing !#

#Well, roughly you're getting the idea. People starts to get sleepy in this very "interesting" class.#

#While Bond got enough of his sleeping, its time for Sensei to sleep pulak. Zzz...#

#When boredom starts to hunt you, you must express it out or else you get eaten inside out...by boredom.#

#After showing my boredom message to Sensei, she replied this...#

#...and a few more minutes later, this ! It seems that I'm not the person feeling "dead" in the class too.#

At the end of the class, I spotted Sensei ...

#... concentrating on taking down notes......
or something.#

And I found out that she was actually drawing a protrait of Bond.

If you still doesnt really sure what do we university students are doing at the university ? SLEEPING is the answer...

What a Relief !

The first thing I did today morning was turning on my laptop. While plugging all the wires and cables and the battery back to it, I recalled what happens yesterday night:

I was cycling back home after Moral class in the rain (which I was glad that I attend it) and found the window of my room was opened. Rain water splashed into my desk and, my laptop was on the desk !!!

Without hesitating, I wiped it dry and unpluged every wires and cables and the battery too. Then I borrowed a hair drier from my housemate to dry out the whole laptop.

Didnt dare to start it up, and went to bed early and pray that it'll survive the crisis.

I guess its pretty obvious that my precious laptop was able to start up after all (if not how am I gonna go online and blog about it ?). Thank goodness that you're safe my laptop, I cant aford to lose you just because of water ! Looks like I'll just have to close the window whenever I'm out then.

By the way, here's a small update for the week:

- SL's guinea pig give birth to a cute piggy !
- I joined the Chinese Orchestra Music Club and decided to play 笛子 (pronounciation: dee tze), or so it can be called as a "flute" if I'm not mistaken.
- Made myself a teddy as noted in the previous post.
- Been scold by Prof. Shit indirectly in the lab although I'm just late for 2 minutes ! (But I'm glad that I'll never be getting reports for his lab.)
- Rushing Chemistry reports...
- Still wondering who took my green coloured Calvin Klien t-shirt. I'm very positive that I didnt took it back hometown ! Ugh~~~

Until next time, see you soon.

Teddy was Born !!!

 #Teddy.#

If you're wondering where did this teddy come from, no more guessing, you'll never found one of this anywhere as its hand-made !

Yup, hand-made, by myself !

#Teddy sitting on my last year's birthday present.#

While walking around after me, Freezie and Lyn Fay having our lunch at Jusco, Ipoh last Sunday, we bump ourself into a gift shop and we spotted a hand-made teddy accesories and materials in a box. I decided to buy one and try my luck in making one myself.

Surprised me, the materials inside the box are enough to make 4 teddies !!!

#Comparing the size of teddy and Mr. Bean's Teddy (last 2 year's Christmas present).#

After got back from Jusco, I started my work on making myself a teddy.

#Teddy standing with the help of Mr. Bean's Teddy.#

After some time of cutting the fabric, sewing, stuffing the cotton, sewing, making knots after sewing, cutting the fabric again and stuffs ... the first of the 4 teddies was born !

#A close up with teddy.#

So, making yourself a teddy wasnt that hard after all. What you need is just the materials, time and of course, patient and determination !

#Doesnt it looked cute ?#

I guess its time for me to sleep so that the same incident happened today morning on Prof. Shit's class will not be happening again for tomorrow.

What should I name the teddy ?

P/S: Its a female teddy.

To _____ ,

May Mr. Bean's Teddy will be protecting you from now on. May you be happy and be cute forever.

Happy 0 years old ! >w<

From,
Me (Of course !)

Disney's The Princess and the Frog Review

As a typical Disney animation lover, I've been looking forward to this animation ever since the first trailer been put on Youtube.

#Tiana and Prince Naveen.#

As you all may be know already, the story revolves around the Prince and the not-really-a-princess-at-first Tiana. While persuing her dream to open a restaurant, she met a frog who claim itself himself as the Prince Naveen that been turned into a frog by a witch doctor.

As we know the fairy tale of the Frog Prince, "a kiss from the princess breaks the spell and the frog turns into a gorgeous prince" and bla bla bla, happy ever after... BUT, after receiving a kiss from Tiana, the spell was not broken, Tiana herself was transformed into a frog as well !

Later on, they found themselves on a journey to search for a cure from Mama Odie that lives in the swam. With the help from their animal friend Louis the alligator and Raymond the firefly, they developed a friendship and found Mama Odie. She told Naveen that he must kiss a princess before midnight to be a human again, but the clock is ticking . . .

Well, shouldnt be spoiling much of the audience who havent watch the animation just yet !

The thing to note in the movie was King Triton from The Little Mermaid, please spot it with your eyes and you'll find that its interesting to have cross reference in the animation. I once read before that there's also the magic lamp from Alladin, but I couldnt find any inside perhaps due to it appears in the animation just for a few seconds...

Another thing is that, congratulations to Disney as Tiana was the first African-American princess ! *Yay~~* Besides that, also take a note on Tiana's childhood friend Charlotte. Even though she's far more richer than Tiana and has everything in the world from her father, but she's not jealous with Tiana but instead, very generous indeed. Never seen such a good character being developed: rich but generous, helpful and not selfish.

Next, the graphics ! Even though its not as good as Avatar for having it 3D nor a CGI animation like Final Fantasy VII Advent Children or Cloudy and a chance with Meatballs, a normal + original 2D animation from Disney was enough to bring back the childhood memories from me with Disney.

Finally, the songs in the animation. Almost every character sings in the animation, its pretty fun enjoying the songs and it suits the storyline perfectly.

So, I rate this animation The Princess and the Frog from Disney a 9.5 out of 10. The animation was quite short, and I was looking froward for a little longer plot before I watch it. But its OK, it satisfied me with a beautiful and almost touching ending.

Thats Enough !

First week of the semester already begun with an unusual start by having the house owner's dog outside of his room MY room...

Then, the dog break free from its fence-like cage and donimates the whole second floor for the first night with dog shits and dog fur stuffs all over my door mat.

After securing the fence, I'll never open my door again for more than 30 seconds or else the smell of the shits and pees and the dog food something will rushed into my room as if my room's shitty-smell-percentage pressure was low...

And for the 5th day of putting the dog outside of his room MY room, this happened.

#Spotted the dog in its fence-like cage, a modem and 2 red circles... hey, that was the telephone lines connected to the modem !#

The connection was then cut and the dog was scold by my house owner later on. Eventually the broken phone line was replaced and the connection was back to normal...

..but still, I think that something should be done to this mammal as it makes the whole second floor smells like shit !

Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit ~ ~ ~ ~

Thats the only thing I ever get if I breath while I'm going out of my room.

A Day at KLCC [Offline Blog for 10/1]

As mentioned earlier about the outing plan by Freezie-chan, it was successfully carried out yesterday. Ex TE-4 members who participated: Me, Freezie-chan, Hermin, Rannie and "My" Chelle (with her sister and her friend Charmaine).

We agreed to meet at KLCC's Roti Boy on 10.30am and I'm already late while I was walking to the bus station around 10am. Reached Pasar Seni moments later and I thought of giving "My" Chelle a call, but there's no signal on my phone. While I move my eyes away from my phone, I saw her in front of me with her giving-you-a-surprise-"hey" look. I flinched back a little and then we caught a LRT going to KLCC together.

Meet Freezie and Hermin waiting at the bakery around 10.45am+, and I thought I heard someone said "hey, its quite fast huh, we're not very late".

Went to TGV later for the detective movie Sherlock Holmes after "My" Chelle's sister and her friend went to Education Fair. I'm not sure with other people, but I think that the whole movie was very Detective-Conan-like, and I like it.

For Detective Conan fans, you may know that Shinichi Kudo got his name "Conan" from the author of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes also the favourite novel character for Shinichi. So for all Detective Conan fans, Sherlock Holmes is a must watch movie.

After the movie, we went to Sakae Sushi (too bad I didnt took the picture of the restaurant front door) for a Japanese cuisine lunch. This restaurant was very technology advanced, as we're ordering our food through the touch-screen monitor on the side of the table. Hermin and Freezie helped us to order the food and ... Itadakimasu !

#Touch-screen monitor !#

#Hermin demostrating how to use it.#

#Dont know how to use it ? There's a short tutorial on the menu.#

#A very nice effect there Rannie, haha~#

#She claim that she does not know what is "bachilization", but she's doing it !#

#Freezie's "satisfied bite" of the same California Roll.#

#Rannie's ultimate Yokubari Gozen, including a rice, miso soup, chicken chop, curry sause, chicken satay and sea-shell-kind of seafood.#

#Eh...perhaps Freezie-chan interupted Rannie's meal on the wrong time by wanting to try some miso soup...#

What else can we do in such a beautiful restaurant ? Photo shooting time !

#Self-shooting on the mirror...#

#Yay...show some teeeeth ~~#

#Promoting the same thing...again !#

#Freezie-chan was too excited while taking this photo till its blurred ! It showed that they're really enjoying the time where Hermin putting the pot over her head...#

#She was excited and tried to do the same trick herself !#

#Whats with that look Rannie ?#

#Camwhoring ...#

#... but then I found that having somebody to take it was better. ^^#

#Rannie acting as the ghost in "The Ring" that creap out from the TV ?#

With hard attempt, we're awake from our photo shooing-mode as we noticed that we're being watched by others. We leave the restaurant and went to Kinokuniya for a walk.

Some searching for Twilight, some aimlessly looking around, while I looking for Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. I did found a whole collection of Sherlock Holmes' story, but it'll cost me hundreds. So I think I should look for some other books of Sherlock Holmes.

#Harry Potter audiobook full set...#

#A pretty number for such a stuff...if you ask me, we just waved goodbye with the number "2009" not long ago.#

At the end of the walk, each of us bought ourselves a book:

Me = The Extraordinary Cases of Sherlock Holmes, contents 8 cases
Freezie = Twilight, the first book of the series
Rannie = Franklinstine, the bring-back-death-to-alive classical horror
"My" Chelle = the long-waited-to-be-bought Inkdeath paperback cover version

Oh ya, Hermin was thinking of buying herself some R.L. Stine, but she couldnt find a nice one. But I did found a nice one for Scotty...hehehehehehe~~~

#Looks bloody scary...I mean the look of the girl.#

#Scotty, this book really suits you...as you share the same name with the main character ! Haha~#

Around 6pm, we went back to the LRT station and headed back to our own home separately. The outing was fun and I'm very glad to get myself a book to kill some boredom for my last week of the holiday although it cost me some money...

Deleted Scene

"What is Monorail ? What is LRT !? What is KTM !?!?" asked "My" Chelle's sister while we're out of the LRT.

"Monorail is not LRT, KTM is the one that your sister always took to go Kampar." I said.

"What does KTM stands for ?"

"Not sure, but I think there must be a 'Malaysia' at the back, haha~"

"How to differentiate KTM and LRT ? I still dont know how..."

"LRT is red, blue and white in colour; KTM is blue, yellow and white in colour...I think..." I answered after some thinking.

When we pass by a signboard showing the railway of the LRT, she said "oh, now I know what am I taking just now...its LRT !"

A Boring Holiday Week [Offline Blog for 8/1]

Holiday had begun and the only thing I'm doing so far are: stay at home, alone and bored. If you wanted to count in the day I helped my father's stall at Gohtong Jaya Strawberry Park, those days were better than the boring days that I had earlier. But there's one thing that I hate while working as a "helper" of my father's stall: weather.

I hate cold. Cold is my great weakness.

Even though I downloaded some episodes of Heroes Season 4 and Dollhouse Season 1 with unaired last episode...but it seems that I'm still keeping it inside my computer and havent touched it.

I've been thinking of having outings with my secondary schoolmates, but it didnt turn out to be right. They're now all having different stages of life: some having holiday after Form 6, some busy in working, some still studying and some, still thinking of something stupid...

Their outing plan had always been a failure in the end. But luckily Freezie planned a outing before I finished my final exam. Tomorrow is the outing day and I'm quite happy about it.

I’m going to Gohtong Jaya again this weekend to help my father and aunt. In addition, I think I need to prepare more thick clothes for the trip. And I'll bring my camera along and catch some nice pictures around the Strawberry Park. The environment is cold and beautiful, and the place is still expanding. I'll upload the pictures when I'm back to the place where Internet is available to me.

Talking about my hostel, seems like my Junior is going to Kampar for his Degree orientation tomorrow morning. I wish that he may have a wonderful journey and be familiar with the new environment.

For the first week of my boredom, I would like to thank a few people:

Firstly thank you Scotty for taking care of my plant and updating me with stuffs; thank you Freezie for the outing plan, which I personally think its going to be very successful; thank you Rannie for that call to clear out my boredom while I'm working time; and lastly "My" Chelle, for being my only medium to release my boredom.

A Song from My Childhood That I Remembered

My grandma used to be tuning on "Light and Easy" on the radio during my kidergarden time. She liked to listen to the Oldies by Elton John, Kenny G, Air Supply and lots more. And because of this, I'm been affected by it and in love with the Oldies too.

The post earlier about the Golden Oldies, I get to know it from my grandma through the radio, just that I didnt know the song name and artist. Now I do, and I must remember it well. ^_^

And today when I went to Old Town with Sensei to buy bus tickets, I heard a very familiar song from the shop nearby. Didnt know the artist but I guess I knew the song title. So when I got back home, I quickly Youtube-ed it and BINGO, I found the song. Now I know the name of this artist, its Shania Twain, Sensei.

Until now, this song is still can be heard from Lite FM, the once-before "Light and Easy". This song was released on 2002, there's a much older song from Shania which is You're Still the One.

Its a live version, but her voice is still the same as in the radio. How sweet is this song. My grandma said that I'm singing this song during my kidergarden time...well, its my favorite song ! >w<

Enjoy the songs.

Trip to Ipoh Parade

Woke up by the alarm of my phone and found myself having breakfast 10 minutes later and ready to meet Sensei at Scotty's house at 9am.

#Wearing my new shirt with a sleepy-head face.#

We planned to go to Ipoh Parade since its already semester break. When I arrived at Scotty's house, the weather is nice, its perfect for outing.

#If the peak of the mountain can be seen, its a good sign coz its a nice weather best for outings.#

After Sensei arrived, 3 of us walked towards the bus station not far away and waited for a bus to go Old Town.

#Walking towards the bus stop...and we found ... #

#... mud cow shit when we're crossing the road. Who's that lucky unlucky motorcycle or car that pass by this piece of shit ?#

After a few minutes of waiting at the bus stop, we get into the bus and head to Old Town to take another bus to Ipoh. Its my first time riding a bus in Ipoh, its been fun and we took some pictures while we're on the bus.

#Bus tickets.#

#Me, Sensei at the back and Scotty.#

#OMG, I looked so 38 at the back. Zzz...#

Anyway, reached Ipoh after that and we took another bus to the Ipoh Old Town and searched for the restaurant which Sensei said they're popular for selling Ipoh white coffee. We did found it after some search and a help from the locals. The shop is packed with people and we managed to find ourself a seat somewhere inside and we ordered an iced white coffee each.

#The packed shop...#

#Although the name is "white" coffee, but it doesnt means that it's really white in colour !#

There's another thing that we found popular in this shop is the 猪肠粉, which we didnt get a chance to taste since it was sold out. And one thing about this 猪肠粉 stall in this restaurant is, the daughter of the stall owner is the roommate of Sensei's older sister some time ago !

#Sensei and her sister's roommate.#

One thing to remember though while eating in restaurants in Old Town: if any strangers started to ask for money from you or wanna sell of some products to you, just ignore it if you do not wish to give any money or buy stuffs from them. I dont know why, I always seem to be the target of choice instead of Sensei and Scotty...perhaps Sensei was right, my face looks too kind or something...

After having out lunch, we took a taxi and reached Ipoh Parade in minutes. Guess what, looks like the Christmas' atmosphere was still circling around us !

#Christmas tree with lots of wishes writen by peoples on tiny papers at the bottom of the tree.#

We randomly visited quite a lot of boutique shops and I bought myself a silver-white coloured tie. Then we pass by quite a lot of anime shop and gift shop too. The thing that catches me is the figurinies !!! >w<

#Final Fantasy figurinies ! Sephiroth and Vincent Valentine at the back. Cloud Strife in the middle with FF8's main character at his side.#

#A pink Yoshi at the back with Luigi. Jafar can be seen at the right side at the back. At the front, Goofy and KH-style Cloud Strife can be seen too. Snapped half of the body of Kairi on the right side. I wonder where's Sora and Roxas is...#

#Yay, Bleach ! Spotted Renji Arabai in bankai mode, quite a number of Kurosaki Ichigo, Kuchiki Byakuya, Hitsugaya Toshiro blocked by Matsumoto, Aizen, Kuchiki Rukia and some other Espada.#

After some walk, we found a very special shop...Sensei asked me to stand infront of that shop so she could get a picture of it. The people inside the shop was looking out while I posed and we quickly run away from the shop to avoid being caught or something...and here's the result.

#I'm being forced !#

The special thing about this shop is the name. Not clear enough ? How about this !?

#Number 28: Spiky Salon".#

Clearer now ? The shop was named after my name...and both Sensei and Scotty was making fun of me by saying that: that shop was opened by me without informing them. I found it funny too...haha~

P/S: Number 30 is Kiroro, not Keroro though...

After had our dinner around 5pm, we walked again and found ourselves a very big balloon clown.

#The clown hits me !#

And then, we entered a magazine shop and Scotty found something interesting... some eggs from this machine !

It need 2 tokens to get an egg from it and the egg contains one of these 5 Bleach character's keychain. Scotty was so excited and he bought the tokens from the counter and started to try his luck to get his favorite character.

#The token was stuck ? No ... ? Good.#

#Oh...thats the keychain that Scotty got from the machine ! Its not his favorite but he accepted it with joy. If there's Rukia or Kon or Ishida inside, for sure I'll get myself some token and try my luck on it !#

Its been late and we went back Kampar with taxi and bus. At Kampar Old Town bus station, we're so tired and lucky enough there's a taxi some distance away. We hop on it and back to Westlake with no stratches. We should go again someday, it was fun !!!

#Front to back: Sensei, me, Scotty and Kinta bus.#
